It is a district belongs to Telangana state. From this state, Most of pharmaceutical companies are located in Sangareddy district(Reformation of districts also a major reason). Apart from Patancheru, bollaram and Bonthapally most of pharma companies are located in gundlamachapur, gaddapotharam and kazipally villages in Sangareddy.
Shameerpet pharma companies located in Genome Valley. It was started in 1999. It is the India’s first developed R&D cluster. Indian origin and several Multi-National companies named in Shameerpet pharma companies list.
Genome valley is 30 km far from the Secunderabad railway station and 70 km far from the Rajiv Gandhi International airport (Shamshabad). The area of the Genome Valley is nearly about 600 Sq Kms. It contains excellent infrastructure facilities, several knowledge parks (MN Park and IKP Knowledge Park) and SEZs (Special Economy Zones). Genome valley not only contains pharma companies but also contains Agriculture-Biotech, Clinical Research Management (CRM), Regulatory and testing companies.
Genome valley is also identified as “Swiss Hub Of India”. Because it have major swiss companies like Novartis, Lonza and Ferring companies.
Some of the Shameerpet pharma companies are located in karkapatla, which we are provided in another post. Because of Telangana districts reformaiton, presently karkapatla belongs to Mulugu Mandal of Siddipet district(We are providing location wise pharma companies list for better understanding and identification).
If you are belongs to pharma or biotechnology field, at least once you should visit this area. You definitely need a bike to roam this area because every company is located 1 or 2 km far from its beside company.
